TORMENTOR ALLEGORIA Taps SYMBOLIC Bassist; New Photos Available

June 16, 2008

Quebec City-based black metallers TORMENTOR ALLEGORIA have recruited Antoine Baril of SYMBOLIC to handle bass duties for their live appearances. This past Saturday night (June 14),they played on the south shore of Quebec City in a small club with cheap beer and a few metalheads packed on a floor that both bands and fans shared as the stage was too small for the 6-piece.

Pictures of the performance can be found at Capitale du Metal.

TORMENTOR ALLEGORIA's debut album, "Blackwine", was released on May 13 via Skyscraper Records. The CD cover was designed by Pascal Laquerre (KATAKLYSM).

"Blackwine" was recorded between July 13, 2007 and August 14, 2007 at studio Unika with producer Steeve Chiasson. It was then mixed in September by Jean-Franois Dagenais (KATAKLYSM) at his JFD Studio in Laval, Qubec. The song "Facing the Dark Gods" includes a vocal collaboration with Rob "The Witch" from NECRONOMICON.
