TOXOCARA Announces Lineup Changes

September 30, 2009

Dutch death metallers TOXOCARA have issued the following update:

"As some might have noticed, some serious lineup changes have been going around in TOXOCARA lately. Former drummer Michiel van der Plicht joined the forces of GOD DETHRONED what will take all his time as a full-time musician. Guitarist Vince Zwarts is disarmed and has at this moment other musical interests and goals.

"TOXOCARA welcomes Romeo Gerrits (VICTIMIZER) as the replacement for Michiel van der Plicht and Petra Guijt (DEADCELL, SOULREAVER, THE 11TH HOUR) as the replacement for Vince Zwarts. The bass guitar will be abused by Barry Geerligs (DEATH SQUAD).

"As for now, the writing process of the third TOXOCARA album is almost finished. The album will again be released through Twilight-Vertrieb Records.

"From December 12, TOXOCARA will be performing live again, headlining the To Hellfest festival in Groesbeek, Holland."

TOXOCARA's second full-length album, "The Great Rebellious", was released in January 2008 via Twilight-Vertrieb.
