TRAIL OF TEARS To Headline Slovakia's BRAINWASHING FEST

Norway's TRAIL OF TEARS has been confirmed to headline the 10-year anniversary of Slovakia's Brainwashing Fest, set to take place May 10. Says the band: "The show will mark TRAIL OF TEARS' first appearance in Slovakia and we are looking forward to meet our Slovakian friends for a great party!"

TRAIL OF TEARS' fifth album, "Existentia", was issued in January 2007 via Napalm Records. The CD was recorded at Soundsuite Studio in Marseille, France with producer Terje Refsnes and includes contributions from French female singer Emmanuelle Zoldan and Norwegian keyboard master Bernt Moen.

TRAIL OF TEARS was last year rejoined by vocalist Cathrine Paulsen, who sang on the group's 2002 album, "A New Dimension of Might".

TRAIL OF TEARS members Jonathan Perez (drums),Kjell Hagen (bass),Runar Hansen (guitar) and Kjetil Nordhus (vocals) announced on November 28, 2006 that they were leaving the group. Vocalist Ronny Thorsen has since vowed to carry on with new members.
