TRANSPORT LEAGUE: 'We Have Not Changed Our Name!'

Despite earlier reports to the contrary, Sweden's TRANSPORT LEAGUE have NOT in fact changed their name to M.A.N. Instead, members of the group have launched M.A.N as a side-project and have recorded 13 songs at Gothenburg, Sweden's Grand Recordings towards their planned debut album, "Obey, Consume, Reject" (originally a TRANSPORT LEAGUE projected album title). A fall release is expected.

"The sound of M.A.N is maybe a bit more brutal than in TRANSPORT LEAGUE, and we just felt that we had make something out of these crushing riffs!" TRANSPORT LEAGUE/M.A.N frontman Tony Jelencovich told BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

M.A.N have just finished mixing their debut album and are now looking for a label to release it. A sampler MP3 containing five cuts from "Obey, Consume, Reject" can be downloaded at this location.

TRANSPORT LEAGUE are continuing to record their new CD, "Non Aggressive Formula", for a planned September release through an as-yet-undetermined label. A total of 11 songs were reportedly recorded at Grand Recordings in Gothenburg, including a cover of DEPECHE MODE's "Never Let Me Down Again". Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Monster Device", "Handcuffed", "Kick Down", "Seven Day Armor", "Fold and Disgusted" and "Soul Wasted".
