TRASHLIGHT VISION Parts Ways With Drummer

September 8, 2006

TRASHLIGHT VISION, the new band featuring MURDERDOLLS guitarist Acey Slade, has parted ways with drummer Lenny Thomas.

"This was not a quick, impulsive decision," Slade writes in a statement. "TRASHLIGHT VISION has no hard feelings. Their only hope is that Lenny goes on to musical endevors that make him happy. Lenny is an awesome drummer and deserves to be in the right situation.

Slade continues: "Our U.S. tour is going to rock like fuck! We will kick off our U.S. tour on Sept. 14th at Snitch (Duff McKagan and Scott Weiland's bar) in New York City, which takes us all around the U.S. three times before taking a quick victory lap in the U.K. We are looking forward to seeing all our U.S. and U.K. fans out on the road."

TRASHLIGHT VISION's debut album, "Alibis and Ammunition", was issued in Europe on April 17 via Undergroove Records. A North American release date for the CD has yet to be announced. The band shot a video for the song "Allergic to You" with director Dale Resteghini (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, FALL OUT BOY, TRIVIUM) on February 26 in Brooklyn, New York.
