TRASHLIGHT VISION Reunites For Benefit Concert (Video)

Punk 'n' roll band TRASHLIGHT VISION performed for the first time in over five years last night (Thursday, September 29) at the Legendary Dobbs in the group's hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band's original lineup of Acey Slade, Steve Haley, Roger "Rags" Segal and Lenny Thomas played its first show since 2006 as a fundraiser for their friend and final TRASHLIGHT VISION drummer, Jonny Chops (also of WEDNESDAY 13 and ANTI-PRODUCT).

"Jonny went through emergency brain surgery to remove a very rare tumor in his cerebellum back in July and we want to do all we can to raise money to help him get through this difficult time," said TRASHLIGHT VISION frontman Acey Slade (formerly of MURDERDOLLS and DOPE).

The show in Philadelphia featured TRASHLIGHT VISION, THE KEEFS, END OF AN ERA, FOSTERCHILD and an all-star jam featuring many special guests. A raffle was also held at the show.

Michael Monroe was kind enough to donate a pair of tickets (as well as t-shirts and signed copies of his new album, "Sensory Overdrive") to his show the following night (September 30) at the Trocadero Theater, also in Philadelphia. There were also donations by Eric Pigores, Mark My Flesh Tattoo (two hours of tattoo work by Dustin Jude),Steve Prue (a photo shoot),Over The Top (a $100 gift certificate at OverTheTopZone.com),Tru Blu Tattoo (a $100 gift certificate),Go Go Amy (a signed photograph) and TRASHLIGHT VISION guitarist Steve Haley (a free guitar or bass lesson).

All proceeds from the event will be given to Jonny Chops directly.
