TRIOSPHERE Putting Finishing Touches On New Album, Preparing For ARCH ENEMY Tour

September 18, 2009

TRIOSPHERE, the female-fronted Norwegian band led by former GRIFFIN guitarist Marcus Silver, has issued the following update:

"After 70 live shows, it's time to follow up with a new album, and TRIOSPHERE is currently doing the final touches on the long-awaited sequel to 'Onwards' (Facefront Records, 2007). 11 new songs, as well as two bonus tracks, have been recorded in Trondheim Lydstudio (Trondheim, Norway),with clear goals for exceeding the debut album with an innovative contribution to the genre. The mixing has been booked at Tommy Hansen's Jailhouse Studios in Denmark, and the album is planned to be released this autumn/winter.

"A grand invitation for unleashing the metal machinery upon the bleeding ears of Europe has once again arrived to TRIOSPHERE — this time from none other than the Tyrant itself! We're of course talking about the kings of melodic death metal, namely ARCH ENEMY and their 'Roots of Evil' European tour! What an honor! And if this wasn't enough, the headliners will be accompanied by German thrash metal legends DESTRUCTION! This is truly an amazing opportunity for TRIOSPHERE, and as our hands are shivering while writing the great news, we can nothing but accept the great offer to play support on this tour. Special guests from the U.S. are also ABIGAIL WILLIAMS. We promise our endless effort to make every concert on this tour a show you can't miss!"

TRIOSPHERE's video for the song "Trinity" can be viewed below. The clip was shot inside a 130-year-old mine by Christian Falch and his crew from Gammaglimt Productions.
