TRIPTYKON's TOM GABRIEL FISCHER Interviewed On 'Focus On Metal' Podcast (Audio)
September 29, 2010Episode 4 of the Focus On Metal weekly podcast features a brand new interview with Tom Gabriel Fischer (TRIPTYKON, CELTIC FROST). Fischer talks about his past work with CELTIC FROST as well as his creative collaboration with famous surrealist painter H.R. Giger. TRIPTYKON will follow its highly acclaimed debut album, "Eparistera Daimones", with the release of "Shatter", an all-new five-track EP, on October 25 (Europe) and October 26 (North America).
At a playing time of approximately 28 minutes, "Shatter" will consist almost entirely of previously unreleased music.

TRIPTYKON's "Shatter" EP will be available through Century Media Records (under license from Prowling Death Records Ltd.) as CD, digital download, and 12" vinyl (at 33 rpm). The EP will further contain the lyrics to all songs as well as detailed liner notes and credits.
TRIPTYKON will tour North America with 1349 and YAKUZA in October.
"Eparistera Daimones", the debut album by TRIPTYKON, registered the following first-week chart positions in Europe:
Germany: #81
Switzerland: #73
Finland: #28
"Eparistera Daimones" sold around 1,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 27 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"Eparistera Daimones" was released as a deluxe mediabook CD edition (including a 28-page booklet and extensive liner notes) as well as a gatefold double LP via Century Media Records under exclusive license from Prowling Death Records Ltd..
TRIPTYKON consists of V. Santura (guitar, vocals),Norman Lonhard (drums, percussion),Vanja Slajh (bass),and Tom Gabriel Warrior (voice, guitars). The group has unambiguously stated that it pursues the continuation and further development of the path Warrior began in HELLHAMMER and CELTIC FROST.
