TRIVIUM, CHILDREN OF BODOM To Team Up For U.S. Tour

According to MTV.com, Orlando's TRIVIUM will hit the road in November with CHILDREN OF BODOM for a full U.S. tour; there are no definitive dates yet.

Released March 15 in the United States, TRIVIUM's latest CD, "Ascendancy", rocketed to No. 4 on the Top New Artist chart with 7,000 albums sold and No. 151 on the The Billboard 200 chart. To date, the album has sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S.

TRIVIUM are currently taking part in their first-ever Ozzfest tour, which kicked off on July 15 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. Lead-singer/guitarist Matt Heafy was recently named a "team captain", along with SLIPKNOT's Joey Jordison, MACHINE HEAD's Robert Flynn and ex-FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares, and has been writing and recording tracks for the Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary all-star record on his time off.
