TRIVIUM: Fan Club DVD Trailer Posted Online

March 12, 2008

Florida-based metallers TRIVIUM have posted a one-minute trailer for the DVD that will be made available only to the members of the group's official fan club, Trivium World. Watch the clip below.

Commented the band: "Wondering what's going to be on the members-only DVD? Wonder no more, we have a sneak peek for you. We're sure that you're also wondering when the hell you're getting your membership packs! We're in the final stages of putting together the content, menus, etc. on the DVD, then we go to production. We anticipate needing at least another few weeks to get through next steps. All the other items are shaping up nicely too - we have the club laminate in house already, have the pictures almost ready to ship to band for autographing, and are almost done with the grafitti stencil. We're really proud of this package, and can't wait to let you know when we're ready to ship it out! If you're not already a member, you're lucky — we're going to let you see the trailer. Don't come crying to us when all your friends are talking about the DVD and you're like 'wtf?' You can get the membership pack too, all you need to do is become a Trivium World member."

TRIVIUM is currently in pre-production for its new album, tentatively due before the end of the year via Roadrunner Records. The as-yet-untitled CD will be produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who has previously worked with FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH, VELVET REVOLVER, SHADOWS FALL, STONE SOUR and DEATH ANGEL, among others.

In a recent interview with Revolver magazine, TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu stated about the upcoming CD, "We want to capture the best ingredients of everything we've done. Each song has a little bit of everything, going between something heavy and then melodic, and then back to something heavy. So it has a really interesting balance. On 'The Crusade', Matt did almost all singing, so this time we're bringing back some of the screaming that's on 'Ascendancy'."
