TRIVIUM Frontman: 'This Is By Far The Best American Tour Yet'

December 3, 2005

Guitarist/vocalist Matt Heafy of the Orlando, Florida metal sensations TRIVIUM has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"The [North American] tour [with CHILDREN OF BODOM and AMON AMARTH] has been outstanding. This is by far the best American tour yet. The reactions are insane, the crowds fantastic, the bands we're touring with [are] amazing.

"It's great to be on tour with BODOM, they've been one of my personal favorites for years, their musicianship is superb.

"Shit is exploding back here at home and we can't wait to see what it's gonna be like with IN FLAMES.

"Thanks to you all for your amazing support — we all really appreciate it."

As previously reported, TRIVIUM have been named Yahoo! Music's "Who's Next?" winner for the month of December. Accumulating 37% of the votes, TRIVIUM have won an exclusive performance and interview that will available at Yahoo.com for the month of December. The band stopped by Yahoo!'s L.A. studios on November 28 to perform two songs from "Ascendancy", along with taping an interview.

On December 13, TRIVIUM will use their day off from the CHILDREN OF BODOM tour to film a video for "Dying in Your Arms", which will be directed by Dale Resteghini (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, FALL OUT BOY) at New York City's Webster Hall. On December 15, a day after their final, sold-out show with CHILDREN OF BODOM at Irving Plaza, members of TRIVIUM will perform at Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary concert taking place at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. In February the band will once again be touring the states, this time with IN FLAMES and labelmates DEVILDRIVER.
