TRIVIUM: In Their Own Words

October 18, 2006

TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu are the first musicians to take part in a new video feature called "In Their Own Words" at the Underground Video Television web site. Matt talks about the beginnings of TRIVIUM and how he got into the band, Corey explains how the group ended up landing a deal with Roadrunner, and both guys discuss their hopes and plans for TRIVIUM's future. You can view that clip, along with some live footage that was shot back in February, at this location.

UVTV recently filmed some new live material with TRIVIUM in Worcester, MA along with some live footage of CELLADOR, both of which will be available for viewing soon.

TRIVIUM's new effort, "The Crusade", sold over 31,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land position No. 25 of next week's The Billboard 200 chart.

As previously reported, "The Crusade", debuted in the national U.K. album chart at No. 6 and is No. 1 on the rock chart. It has also been certified silver in the U.K. for sales in excess of 60,000 copies.
