TRIVIUM: Japanese, Australian Headlining Shows Announced

TRIVIUM will play several headlining shows in Japan and Australia in addition to their previously announced Big Day Out festival dates. The group's schedule is now shaping up as follows:

Jan. 21 - Gold Coast, AUS (BDO)
Jan. 23 - Brisbane, AUS @ The Tivoli (headline)
Jan. 25 - Sydney, AUS (BDO)
Jan. 26 - Sydney, AUS @ UNSW University Roundhouse - (headline)
Jan. 28 - Melbourne, AUS (BDO)
Jan. 31 - Melbourne, AUS @ The Palace (headline)
Feb. 02 - Adelaide, AUS (BDO)
Feb. 04 - Perth, AUS (BDO)
Feb. 05 - Perth, AUS @ Monkey Bar (headline)

TRIVIUM's latest album, "The Crusade", has sold 55,000 copies in the United States since its October 10 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

In the past two years TRIVIUM, lauded as "one of the few contemporary metal bands that matter" by Rolling Stone magazine, have taken the hard rock world by storm. The band has played a staggering 350 shows around the world, sharing the stage with the likes of METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES and many more. They've headlined a U.K. tour and a performed as one of the headliners at the biggest rock festival in the world (Download, UK). Additionally TRIVIUM was one of the headlining acts on this past summer's Sounds of the Underground tour, while last summer they enjoyed a slot on Ozzfest. This fall TRIVIUM will travel the world as direct and sole support to IRON MAIDEN on their stadium tour.
