TRIVIUM Looking Forward To CHILDREN OF BODOM Tour

October 30, 2005

Orlando, Florida metal sensations TRIVIUM have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We are back in the States. Got in last night from Japan. The U.K., North Ireland, Europe and Japan was great — we enjoyed all the shows and had a excellent time. Thanks again to ALL THAT REMAINS and IT DIES TODAY for joining us on the U.K. leg of the tour and we want to thank the mighty ARCH ENEMY for taking us to Europe and Japan. It was a blast and we appreciate it.

"As you may be aware, we are on Decibel magazine's December cover issue so make sure you pick up your good-luck copy (on stands November 4th).

"In just over a week, we will be heading out on the road once again this time as direct support to CHILDREN OF BODOM on their upcoming North American tour, which also features AMON AMARTH.

"Beginning November 9th in Quebec City, Quebec and running through December 14th in New York City, the tour will traverse the United States playing venues including the House of Blues in Chicago, Slim's in San Francisco, the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. and Irving Plaza in New York City."

Commented TRIVIUM frontman Matthew Heafy, "This tour is going to be amazing. We're huge fans of CHILDREN OF BODOM and if the crowds have been reacting anything like we're used to from the U.K. and Europe then it's going to be a knockdown, drag-out good time."

Released March 15 in the United States, TRIVIUM's latest CD, "Ascendancy", rocketed to No. 4 on the Top New Artist chart with 7,000 albums sold and landed at No. 151 on the The Billboard 200 chart. To date, the album has sold 60,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
