December 15, 2007

Florida-based metallers TRIVIUM have issued the following update:

"We started 2007 in Japan, made our way through Australia, New Zeland, the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Switizerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Finland, Norway, Canada and all over the United States.

"We end our 2007 touring year heading home from Helsinki, Finland this morning after completing our 223rd show of the year last night while on The Black Crusade tour with MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, SHADOWS FALL and DRAGONFORCE — a great end to a great year.

"Thanks to you! all of our Trivium World [official fan club] friends and fans who came out to support and enjoy the shows it was alot of fun and we look forward to seeing and meeting you again.

"Thanks to all the bands and their management for making The Black Crusade happen. Thanks to all for the amazing work and support that's been provided by the all management, crews, the promoters, agents, labels and all the people behind the scenes that work so hard to make our touring possible.

"Thanks to Beau and Melissa for all of your patience and support leading our touring team. Ryan, you've been with us since the very first TRIVIUM tour in 2004 (almost 650 shows world wide since then). Thanks to Ken, Rich, Mike and Hippie we really appreciate all of the work you all do to keep our shows (and our heads) in top shape.

"Thanks to the Roadrunner Records family worldwide for the great support not only for this past year but the past 3.5 years. We've appreciated the support and look forward to '08 and a new record.

"We'll be off the road for roughly the first 6-9 months of 2008 writing and recording our third release.

We will be at this year's (West Coast) NAMM in January; we will provide more details soon.

"Of course, we have many more people to thank there are so many that help keep what we know as TRIVIUM moving. We will get a proper update out in the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to let you know we are heading home and are looking forward to some downtime with our friends and families — fuck yeah!!"
