TRIVIUM's 'Shogun' Cracks Australian Top 5
October 6, 2008TRIVIUM's new album, "Shogun", has entered the official Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) chart at position No. 4.
"Shogun" is on track to sell around 25-30,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Hits Daily Double, the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS. The CD follows up "The Crusade", which opened with 31,000 copies in October 2006 to land position No. 25 on The Billboard 200 chart.
"Shogun" was released in North America on September 30 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was mixed in London by Colin Richardson (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, NAPALM DEATH),with Jeff Rose and Martin "Ginge" Ford assisting on engineering duties.
