TRIVIUM Secure Slot On ICED EARTH Tour

May 16, 2004

Orlando, Florida's TRIVIUM have confirmed in a posting on their web site that they have secured a slot on the second leg of ICED EARTH's North American tour beginning on June 1 in Las Vegas Nevada. Also appearing on the bill will be BEYOND THE EMBRACE. Filling in on bass for TRIVIUM during the tour will be MONSTROSITY's Mike Poggione.

In other news, TRIVIUM will be hitting Audiohammer Studios this weekend to begin pre-production for their Roadrunner Records debut album. "We have 12–13 new songs to work on and we've been working really hard and hope to have an album out by early 2005," the band write on their web site. "We will have more details regarding the full recording schedule later this summer."

Also on the TRIVIUM front, Lifeforce Records has teamed up with Victory Records to re-release the group's "Ember To Inferno" album throughout the U.S. on June 1. The album will contain two brand new tracks — "The Deceived" and "Blinding Tears Will Break The Skies" — along with "Demon" off their self-titled "Trivium" demo CD.
