TRIVIUM: Video Interview With Guitarist COREY BEAULIEU Posted Online
June 14, 2006A short video interview with TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu, in which he talks about the different ways his band has been influenced by METALLICA, has been posted online at MetalHammer.co.uk.
As previously reported, TRIVIUM have begun mixing their third album, "The Crusade", with producer Colin Richardson for a tentative October 10 release via Roadrunner Records (one day earlier internationally).
"The Crusade" was recorded primarily at AudioHammer Studio in Orlando, Florida, with the band's guitarist/vocalist Matt Heafy co-producing the disc with AudioHammer owner and previous collaborator Jason Suecof. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Detonation", "Ignition", "Contempt Breeds Contamination", "And Sadness Will Sear", "Vengeance", "To the Rats" and "Contemporary Plague". "There's one acoustic song, a SKID ROW/MÖTLEY CRÜE-sounding song, a DEF LEPPARD, Southern-rock metal song and then 11 ridiculously technical thrash songs," Heafy had previously said. "It's a solo insanity CD, but in a good way." A video clip of TRIVIUM performing "Detonation" at the Rock am Ring festival in Nürburgring, Germany on Saturday, June 3 has been posted at YouTube.com.
