TROUBLE Continue Work On New Album

June 29, 2005

Reunited Chicago doomsters TROUBLE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"TROUBLE is back in the studio to continue the recording of the new CD. Vinny [Wojno, producer] flew back in mid-June to continue production. Bruce [Franklin] and Rick [Wartell] are recording leads at this time. Eric [Wagner] is singing a bit here and there getting melodies and harmonies together. Stage 2 should be finished in a couple of weeks, then they will go in to mix. Still possible to release in 2005. We will see."

TROUBLE's long-awaited follow-up to 1995's "Plastic Green Head" may or may not surface through Century Media Records, who released the band's last studio effort. In addition, the group recently completed an uplugged CD, "Simple Mind Condition", containing acoustic versions of five classic TROUBLE numbers along with two brand new songs. Among the cuts set to appear on "Simple Mind Condition" are "Misery Shows Act II", "Flowers", "Rain", "Requiem" and "Tragedy Man".
