Turkey's CARNOPHAGE Signs With UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS

Ankara, Turkey-based technical death/grind metallers CARNOPHAGE have inked a deal with Unique Leader Records. The group's debut album, "Deformed Future / Genetic Nightmare", was recorded in December 2007 at Midas'in Kulakligi studios with producer Erkan Tatoglu (SUICIDE) and is scheduled for release this spring.

CARNOPHAGE was formed in early 2006 by Mert Kaya (guitar),Bengi Öztürk (bass) and Onur Özçelik (drums). They were later joined by guitarist Berkan Basoglu (ex-SOLITUDE) and vocalist Oral Akyol (BURST APPEAL, ex-CIDESPHERE).
