TWISTED SISTER: Can't Stop', 'Come Out' And 'Suckers' Albums To Be Released As 3CD Set

March 5, 2014

On March 18, Armoury Records will release a 3CD set of TWISTED SISTER's "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll", "Come Out And Play" and "Love Is For Suckers" as part of the Armoury Classics series. This is the first time these albums will be available in a single set.

All three of these original Atlantic studio albums encapsulate the history of TWISTED SISTER's 1980s zenith. "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll", released in 1983, features early hits "I Am (I'm Me)", "The Kids Are Back" and "Like A Knife In The Back". 1985's "Come Out And Play" followed the wild success of "Stay Hungry", the album that launched TWISTED SISTER into worldwide fame. It includes the star-studded "Be Chrool To Your Scuel", which features assists from Alice Cooper, Billy Joel and Brian Setzer. 1987's "Love Is For Suckers" was the band's final studio album, as lead vocalist Dee Snider left the band shortly after its release, rendering the band separated for 15 years.

The first two albums feature the classic lineup of Dee Snider (vocals),Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda (guitars),Mark Mendoza (bass),and A.J. Pero (drums). "Love Is For Suckers" features Joe Franco on drums.

Whether a lifelong TWISTED SISTER devotee, or a new fan sparked by the band's recent resurgence and beloved "A Twisted Christmas" holiday show, this 3CD set should please heavy metal fans across the board.
