TWISTED SISTER Guitarist Interviewed At France's HELLFEST (Video)

July 11, 2013

France's L'Enôrme TV conducted an interview with TWISTED SISTER guitarist Jay Jay French at this year's Hellfest, which was held June 21-23 in Clisson, France. You can now watch the chat below.

An updated version of VH1's "Behind The Music" documentary on TWISTED SISTER, "Behind The Music Remastered: Twisted Sister", premiered on VH1 Classic in the U.S. on March 30. The new version contains footage of the band's triumphant reunion for a New York 9/11 tribute rock concert, their successful X-rated Christmas album, and interview clips with the bandmembers on why they abandoned the makeup and continue to rock to this day.

In a February 2011 interview with the Detroit Rock Blog, TWISTED SISTER guitarist Jay Jay French stated that the original "Behind The Music" documentary on the band, which premiered in August 2001, "was so negatively cut and it was so damaging to the band on a personal level, I thought any dream I had [of the band ever reuniting] would've gone down the tubes at that moment."

In "Remastered", VH1 Classic takes the best episodes from the award-winning "Behind The Music" series, condenses the original episode, and then updates the viewer on what the artist or band has been up to since the original show premiered.
