May 3, 2006

TWISTED SISTER guitarist Eddie Ojeda will be filming a video for his cover of the BEATLES classic "Eleanor Rigby" on Thursday, May 4. TWISTED frontman Dee Snider will appear in the video as well, since he was responsible for laying down the lead vocal tracks for the song on Ojeda's recently released solo album, "Axes 2 Axes". The location of the shoot will be the castle on Sands Point Preserve on Long Island, New York that hosted Snider's 50th surprise birthday bash last year.

As previously reported, "Axes 2 Axes" features guest appearances by such acclaimed hard rock/heavy metal vocalists as Snider, Ronnie James Dio (DIO, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH),and Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). Rudy Sarzo (QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, DIO, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) plays bass on two tracks, with Chris McCarvill handling the rest. Drummer Joe Franco (TWISTED SISTER, VINNIE MOORE, JACK BRUCE) plays on the entire record. The cover artwork for "Axes 2 Axes" was conceived by German artist Timo Wuerz.

Ojeda is featured in an instructional DVD from Music Star Productions, entitled "Eddie Ojeda Twisted Method". Eddie gives TWISTED fans throughout the world up close and personal lessons into his rockin' riffs and blazing solos! Learn rock anthems such as "I Wanna Rock" and "We're not Gonna Take It" as well as TWISTED classics "The Price" and "The Fire Still Burns". Eddie also gives tips and offers candid insight into his gear, influences and TWISTED beginnings.
