TWISTED SISTER Make Unannounced Appearance In New York City

December 14, 2002

TWISTED SISTER made an unannounced appearance at Don Hill's in New York City last night (Dec. 13) as part of frontman Dee Snider's scheduled solo headlining gig at the venue.

The band, who reunited for their first performance in 14 years at last year's "New York Steel" benefit for the New York Police & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund, reportedly brought the house down with a three-song set consisting of "Shoot 'em Down", "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll", and "We're Not Gonna Take It".

Earlier in the night, DEE SNIDER'S SICK MUTHA FUCKERS knocked out an energetic set that included renditions of JUDAS PRIEST's "Hell Bent For Leather", THE SEX PISTOLS' "God Save The Queen", AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie", and LED ZEPPELIN's "Rock And Roll".

TWISTED SISTER recently announced plans for a reunion tour in 2003, which will include headlining appearances at the next installment of Sweden Rock and Germany's Bang Your Head festivals. A U.S. tour is expected to follow shortly thereafter.
