TWISTED SISTER's DEE SNIDER Leaving Philadelphia's 93.3 WMMR
June 14, 2005According to Philly.com, TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider is leaving 93.3 WMMR. He's hosted a nighttime show for the station since August. Friday will be his last.
The decision to leave was Snider's, says WMMR program director Bill Weston. Weston says Dee wants to spend more time with his family. The odd part is that he broadcasts from his Long Island basement.
"It kills me to have to give that up," Snider said about his relationship with listeners.
He'll be replaced by Matt Cord, who's been part time at WMMR since Y100 went off the air a few months back. Cord takes over the 7-to-midnight shift July 5.
