TYRANT: 'Save The Devil' Out Now

March 29, 2011

Veteran Australian hard rock/metal act TYRANT has released its fifth CD, "Save The Devil". The effort was recorded at Izaneer studios in Tasmania during 2010 and was produced by Brett Collidge.

According to a press release, recording for "Save The Devil" started back in 2008 but singer Neil Steel was involved in a 'head-on' car accident, which halted proceedings for over 12 months.

"Save The Devil" features 10 songs, with TYRANT's no-nonsense balls-out attitude and a far more metal flavor compared to the band's previous releases.

"Save The Devil" track listing:

01. Intro
02. Courage Of The Heart
03. Lay Down The Law
04. Defenders Of The Faith
05. Devil Woman
06. Tumblin' Down
07. Fire In The Sky
08. Youngblood
09. Killing Machine
10. Running From The Law

TYRANT recently played a few shows in its hometown of Hobart to launch the new CD.

A video for the song "Lay Down The Law" should make its online debut in May.

TYRANT is currently in negotiations with a number of labels, hoping to secure overseas distribution for the new CD.
