AFM's current roster includes such acts as U.D.O., ANNIHILATOR, MASTERPLAN, AT VANCE and CIRCLE II CIRCLE. DESTRUCTION were in the process of finalizing a record deal with the label at the time of Allendörfer's death.
The Metal Forever Festival is scheduled to take place on February 19 at the Sporthalle in Böblingen, Germany. Among the scheduled performers at the benefit concert are SAXON, DESTRUCTION, PRIMAL FEAR, HOLY MOSES, DOMAIN, CHINCHILLA and REBELLION.
In other news, U.D.O. guitarists Igor Gianola and Stefan Kaufmann are in the process of laying down tracks for the group's new album at a studio in Germany. "More and more this six-string team works together, and more unique the sound of U.D.O. becomes!" reads a posting on the group's web site. "They seems to be really inspired, heavy cutting riffs and solos running through different atmospheres, one after the another!" 13 songs will appear on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2004's "Thunderball", tentatively due in October. A world tour in support of the album will kick off in January 2006.
