U.D.O. To Release New EP In April
March 14, 2007U.D.O., the band led by former ACCEPT frontman Udo Dirkschneider, will release a new EP, entitled "The Wrong Side of Midnight", on April 27. The EP will include two versions of the title track as well as three non-album tracks.
U.D.O. is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on its new album, "Mastercutor", due on May 18 via AFM Records.
U.D.O. supported LORDI on September 28, 2006 at the Live Music Hall in Cologne. Dirkschneider makes an appearance on the song "They Only Come Out At Night" on LORDI's latest album, "The Arockalypse".
U.D.O.'s last album, "Mission No. X", was issued in September 2005 via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Thunderball" marked the recording debut with the group of new drummer Francesco Jovino. Jovino joined the band in 2005 as the permanent replacement for Lorenzo Milani, who left the group for "personal reasons."
