ULVER: New Album Title Announced

November 28, 2010

Progressive Norwegian rock/metal band ULVER has set "Critical Geography" as the title of its next album, due in 2011. More information will be made available soon.

Once among the pioneers of Norwegian black metal, now living legends of dark experimental music, ULVER is one of Norway's most acclaimed international artists. While remaining something of a secret treasure back home, a long series of strong releases, most recently the album "Shadows of the Sun" (2007),has earned them a unique status worldwide.

During its first fifteen years, ULVER never played live, which contributed to the shaping of its legendary history. When Mr. Stig Sæterbakken finally succeeded in persuading the band to play their first concert at the Norwegian Festival of Literature in May 2009, fans came from all over the world — including Australia, Japan, Canada and the U.S.
