UNDER EDEN Commences Work On Sophomore CD, Seeks New Label Home

November 16, 2006

Minnesota melodic thrashers UNDER EDEN have begun recording new material for their sophomore release. The follow-up to the 2005 debut "The Savage Circle" will be conceptual in nature, "preserving its predecessor's melodic style but displaying more death metal influence," according to a press release.

Following the demise of Black Lotus Records earlier in the year, UNDER EDEN is seeking a new label with which to release the new album. In the interim, the band is planning to unveil selected new songs in EP format. Among the new titles are "Serpent Birth" and "Phoenix on Frozen Wings", which the band debuted at the Minneapolis Mayhem 3 festival in August.
