UNEARTH: 'Alive From The Apocalypse' DVD First-Week Sales Revealed

March 26, 2008

UNEARTH's first-ever DVD, "Alive from the Apocalypse", debuted at No. 13 on Billboard's Top Music Videos chart with first-week sales of 1,800 copies. It also landed at No. 15 on the Top Video/DVD chart in Canada, where it was certified gold just one week after its release!

Canada is the first territory to commemorate certified gold status of "Alive from the Apocalypse".

Commented singer Trevor Phipps: "Heavy metal, travelling the world, all the beer and whiskey we can drink, and now a gold DVD. Fuck, man, does it get any cooler than this? Thanks to all our fans in Canada for being the first country to make any of our releases gold. You all have supported us ever since our first trip north of the border in 1999 and shit just keeps getting better. You all fucking rule. See you on the road soon and thanks!!!"

UNEARTH will hit the road on Thursday, March 27 in support of its double disc DVD, which Revolver magazine calls "far more entertaining than most band DVDs." Support will come from BURY YOUR DEAD, AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE, and THE DESTRO. UNEARTH will also play at WSOU's 60th Anniversary Celebration alongside SHADOWS FALL, A LIFE ONCE LOST and BLOODSIMPLE. Once the band returns home, it will commence work on its third full-length Metal Blade release, which will be out in the fall of 2008.
