UNEARTH Frontman: 'We Could Not Have Asked For A Tour As Killer As This'
October 26, 2006UNEARTH vocalist Trevor Phipps has issued the following update:
"From the crowd of 12,000 amazing metal heads at the Loud Park festival in Japan to the sold-out dates in Eastern Australia with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and LAMB OF GOD and the last three completely packed shows in Western Australia and New Zealand with KSE, we could not have asked for a tour as killer as this. Thanks to the bands, promoters and especially the FANS for making the past few weeks some of the best touring UNEARTH has ever done. We will be back to play again for you all real soon, so keep an eye out."
UNEARTH's new album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", has sold more than 55,000 copies in the United States since its August 8 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD was recorded at a Seattle studio with producer Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES). A limited-edition version of "III: In the Eyes of Fire" includes a bonus DVD containing the "making of" footage for the album and a live video filmed on the Sounds of The Underground tour.
