UNEARTH: New Studio Album Coming In The Fall

January 3, 2008

Massachusetts-based metallers UNEARTH have issued the following year-end update:

"2007 was another killer year for all things UNEARTH as we toured North America with metal legends SLAYER. We headlined tours in Europe, Australia and New Zealand for the first time, played the biggest European festivals of our career, brought our metal to the awesome state of Alaska for its live debut and finished off the year with a packed-out headlining North American tour.

"2008 is already shaping up to be even better than '07 with first time trips to Mexico and South America in January and February, respectively, the release of our double-disc DVD with a live concert disc and a full documentary DVD spanning our entire career (coming March 4, 2008),more worldwide touring and a brand new full-length UNEARTH studio album coming sometime this fall!"

UNEARTH's two-disc DVD set will feature the band's October 9, 2007 concert at the Glass House in Pomona, California along with other live performances shot throughout the band's nine-year career, as well as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and other random happenings throughout the years.

UNEARTH recently released the video for the song "This Glorious Nightmare". The track comes off the group's new album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", which was released in August 2006 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at a Seattle studio with producer Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES).

Sacramento, California's longest-running rock 'n' roll TV show "Capital Chaos" has captured UNEARTH performing the song "This Glorious Nightmare" at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California on October 12, 2007 on the band's recent tour with DARKEST HOUR, AUGUST BURNS RED and SUICIDE SILENCE.
