UNEARTH's MCGRATH Working On Seven-String Instructional Products; Video Available
March 27, 2009Guitarist Buz McGrath of Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH visited the Rock House earlier this month (March 2009) to work on his seven-string instructional products . Watch the 10-minute behind-the-scenes clip below.
On March 19, UNEARTH teamed up with Artificial Army to shoot a video for the song "Grave of Opportunity". The clip's release will coincide with UNEARTH's North American tour with TESTAMENT and LAZARUS A.D., which kicks off on May 2 in Seattle.
Vocalist Trevor Phipps commented, "This video will be a lot different than any of our other videos. We are looking to mix things up and not just make the same old boring ass videos most everyone else makes. It might rule and it might suck. My money is on ruling."
"The March", the latest album from UNEARTH, sold around 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 45 on The Billboard 200 chart. The limited European-exclusive edition of "The March" includes a bonus track called "Our Callous Skin" and an exclusive bonus DVD featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the record, directed by Doug Spangenberg. This limited edition comes in a high-class digibook with special format. The limited LP was released on colored and 180g heavy vinyl in a gatefold sleeve and printed innerbag. It includes a unique download card to login on a dedicated page where fans can download the full album for free.
