UNKNOWN CURE Changes Name, Announces New Guitarist
July 4, 2007Tampa, Florida-based thrash/death metal band UNKNOWN CURE has changed its name to BLOODHOUSE. The group also has parted ways with original guitar player Don Queen (GENOCIDE, DECIMATION). Queen spent five years with the band and also was a co-founder of the group alongside vocalist Tony Anderson (GENERICHRIST, UNSPEAKABLE ACTS) and guitar player Guy Loucks (BLESSED WITH PAIN, 454). Taking his place will be Wayne Clarke (TRIAL BY STONE),who is a veteran of the Tampa Bay underground metal scene. UNKNOWN CURE's early lineup also featured Darren McFarland (CYNIC, ATHEIST) and Dave Bizzigotti (RIPPING CORPSE).
BLOODHOUSE will release its new album, "Funeral March of the Maggots", in late September.
