UNSPOKEN Part Ways With Singer, Announce Replacement
July 31, 2003Houston Texas-based "southern stoner metal band" UNSPOKEN have parted ways with former DIRT vocalist Travis Powers. "[Travis] has a new baby and is building a new home so he really didn't have time for this project," the group said in an official statement. "He is our bro and we wish him the best." Stepping up to the mic as Powers' replacement is former DIRT guitarist Roger Augustine, who will continue to handle the lead-axe duties in the band. "Things are fleshing out really well and we look for our live debut in September before going into the studio to record the EP." UNSPOKEN's lineup is completed by Craig McLendon (bass),Kevin Harrison (drums) and Trey Ainsworth (guitar).
