URGEHAL's 'Rise Of The Monument' Demo To Be Released On CD With Bonus Tracks

"Rise Of The Monument", the second demo from Norway's black metal masters URGEHAL (featuring ex-KVIST members and current members of VULTURE LORD, CREST OF DARKNESS, ASMEGIN, FORGOTTEN REALMS, and BLOODSWORN) — which was previously only available on limited tape and picture disc (via Agonia Records),has now been released on CD through Folter Records. As a special bonus, it contains a 45-minute live set from the Under The Black Sun festival in 2008.

URGEHAL will release its new album, "Ikonoklast", on November 16 in Europe and January 12 in the U.S. via Season of Mist's Underground Activists division. According to a press release, the band's sixth opus "offers impressive dynamics from doom-laden solemnity to furious outbreaks. An unholy groove adds to the malignant atmosphere permeating this Norwegian masterpiece. With their roots tight in the past URGEHAL now reach for the future of black metal! None shall resist!"
