VADER Check In From The Road
May 4, 2005Polish death metallers VADER have posted the following message on their official web site:
"A fortnight has passed since our latest report...We traversed the whole continent of America crosswise, playing in such 'original' places like Idaho, Colorado... Next, down the West Coast we started with a great show in Seattle and through across Portland we have finally reached California! These four gigs (Orangevale, San Francisco, Hollywood and Anaheim) have been so far the best ones on the whole tour, definitely! At House Of Blues (when we played) we met Kerry King [SLAYERLeatherface from the famous 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' :))). We also had an honour to stay at Rita's house — Mr. Dimebag Darell's widow. Now we have finished our manoeuvres in Texas. Next step — Florida! Hell awaits!"

VADER, who recently inked a deal with Sweden's Regain Records, will enter Hertz Studio in Bialystok in early July to record their new mini-CD, "The Art of War". The CD will be produced by the Wieslawscy brothers and will contain "three extremely intense and fast cuts and one song in the vein of the band's typical style," according to a posting on the group's web site. "The Art of War" will also contain the video clip for the title track.
VADER recently parted ways with longtime drummer Doc. Replacing him in the group's lineup is Daray, who appeared on VADER's last effort, "The Beast" (2004) and toured with the band for the past year.
