VADER: New Video Nearing Completion

April 14, 2005

Polish death metallers VADER have posted the following message on their official web site:

"A new videoclip that will promote VADER's upcoming MCD, 'The Art of War', is nearing completion. The video, under a working title 'And This Is The War You've Wanted', has been created by Arek Jurcan, young and talented graphic designer, manipulating mainly with 3D technics. It's going to be something unique and pretty unconventional. What's interesting, the video had been created, before Peter started to write music for it.

"'It's going to be an experiment, especially when I have to write music for the completed video sequences,' says Peter. 'Pretty difficult, the more so because this is the first time when I write in this way, but it gives me a lot of satisfaction and everything what can I say now — expect just a killer song!"

VADER, who recently inked a deal with Sweden's Regain Records, will enter Hertz Studio in Bialystok in early July to record "The Art of War". The CD will be produced by the Wieslawscy brothers and will contain "three extremely intense and fast cuts and one song in the vein of the band's typical style," according to a posting on the group's web site. "The Art of War" will also contain the video clip for the title track.

VADER recently parted ways with longtime drummer Doc. Replacing him in the group's lineup is Daray, who appeared on VADER's last effort, "The Beast" (2004) and toured with the band for the past year.
