VANISHING POINT Completes Work On 'Surrender' Video
March 7, 2007Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT has finished filming a video for the new song "Surrender" with the crew at Australia's Demo Clips. The track is expected to appear on the group's next studio album, due later in the year.
VANISHING POINT has secured the support slot on DRAGONFORCE's Australian tour, which is scheduled to kick off in early May. This will be DRAGONFORCE's second time in Australia, and the first time for VANISHING POINT to play in Brisbane and Perth.
VANISHING POINT recently announced the addition of drummer Christian Nativo to the group's ranks. "Previous to VANISHING POINT I have been playing in Melbourne metal band PTB (POWERS THAT BE) and doing freelance/session work for bands all around Melbourne and Interstate," Nativo wrote on VANISHING POINT's web site. "I feel extremely honored to be playing music with such a talented group of musicians and I look forward to meeting you all on the road and at the shows."
VANISHING POINT's latest opus, "Embrace the Silence", was released in Europe in May 2005 through Dockyard 1.
