VANISHING POINT Sign With DOCKYARD 1; New Album Due In April

Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT will release their new album, "Embrace The Silence", on April 25 through Dockyard 1, the new German company/record label formed by Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR). "Embrace the Silence" will be available in Australia and New Zealand through Modern Invasion Music. "We are happy to release this news to you all out there and we thank everyone for their patience," the band write on their web site. "It has been a trying time, nevertheless we now see the light at the end of the tunnel and cant wait to get the new album out there!"

As previously reported, VANISHING POINT will be supporting Finland's NIGHTWISH on their first tour of Australia for their two Melbourne shows. They are playing at The Corner Hotel (57 Swan Street, Richmond) on Monday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 22.
