VANISHING POINT To Support GAMMA RAY In Melbourne

Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT will support GAMMA RAY on December 9 at the Hifi Bar in Melbourne, Australia. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are AUD$40 (plus booking fee).

VANISHING POINT is currently writing material for its fourth album, tentatively due in early 2007 via Dockyard 1. The band was scheduled to enter Palm Studios (BLACK MAJESTY, THE ETERNAL) last month with producer Endel Rivers to begin recording the CD, which the group claims will contain "probably the heaviest music that we have come up with . . . We still have the melodic edge, symphonic arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics as usual that you would expect on a VANISHING POINT album."

VANISHING POINT's latest album, "Embrace the Silence", was released in Europe in May 2005 through Dockyard 1. "Embrace the Silence" is available in Australia and New Zealand through Riot Distribution.
