VANMAKT Launches Drummer Search

May 23, 2008

Swedish black metallers VANMAKT have issued the following update:

"Since we have no drummer at the moment for live purposes, we are looking for one. So, if you live in Sweden, Denmark or Norway and feel that you want to join a hard-working and serious band that wants to go all the way, don't hesitate to contact us. If you don't fit [our requirements], please don't waste our time by contacting us."

VANMAKT will enter EPM Studios on June 5 with producer Bjrn Lindgren to begin recording its second album, "Ad Luciferi Regnum" (rough translation: To the Kingdom of Lucifer). The CD will be mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio (WATAIN, SETHERIAL).

"Ad Luciferi Regnum" recording lineup:

M. Svensson (screams & guitar)
V. Dahlgren (bass)
M. Wohlfart (guitar)
Liedheim (drums)

VANMAKT recently inked a new deal with Pulverised Records.

The band's debut album, "Vredskapta Mrkersagor", features guest appearances by Jonas Renvaktar (SPAWN OF POSSESSION) on the song entitled "Open the Gates" and Hebbe from SKALD on the track "En Mardrm, En Strid, Ett Helvete". VANMAKT also filmed a video for the song "My Darkest Hate", which can be viewed below.
