VANMAKT Seeks Touring Guitarist

January 24, 2007

Swedish black metal band VANMAKT is currently seeking a second guitar player for upcoming touring activities.

Commented band leader Gorgoth: "Since VANMAKT probably is going on tour after the release of [the group's debut album] 'Vredskapta Mörkersagor', we need to find a second guitar player. At this moment I handle the guitar and the vocals, but I want to focus only at the vocal parts and that means we need someone else to fill the live guitar spot! You need to be from Sweden, at least 21 years young. We're rehearsing in Ronneby (Blekinge) two times a week. If you're interested, mail me at: [email protected].

"All the guitar and bass are recorded for the forthcoming album! We didnt record any vocals this week due to that I have fellt sick. But next week were gonna start to record the vocals!"

VANMAKT's debut album will be released later in the year via Pulverised Records. The CD will contain 11 songs that "represent [VANMAKT's] interpretation of how black metal really should sound," according to a press release.

VANMAKT released a four-song demo last year, entitled "Diaboli Iubeo, Para Vindicta". The track listing for the effort is as follows:

01. Prince Mephisto
02. Undying, The Master
03. The Bereaver
04. Demonas De Profundis
