VARG: New Album Title Announced

July 27, 2010

German Viking horde VARG has set "Wolfskult" as the title of its new album, due early 2011 via Noise Art Records.

In other news, VARG vocalist Freki and bassist Managarm have announced a very special event for fans of the band.

"We invite all fans and supporters of the Wolfskult to a pre-listening at our place," commented the group.

"On Saturday 11th of September we will all meet up in 96450 Coburg, Germany, to listen to the album and rate it in detail. After that we will check out our rehearsal room, have some good old German beers and do some pub crawling in the evening.

"With the scream 'Wir sind die Wölfe' ('We are the wolves'),which we will record all together in a recording studio in Coburg, you will become part of the same-named song on the new album.

"Which choir could fit better for this refrain than true fans? Right, none! Therefore we're really looking forward to this day with you guys!

"Subscribe fastly, places are limited!"

Fans who wish to take part in this event and listen to "Wolfskult" on its entirety half a year before its release should send an e-mail, including their name, photo and a short introduction about why they want to be involved, to [email protected].

VARG released its sophomore album, "Blutaar", on January 22, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records.
