As reported here yesterday, VELVET REVOLVER will perform a short set this Thursday evening, June 19, at El Rey Theatre (5515 Wilshire Blvd.) in Los Angeles, California.
The exclusive invitation-only event — which is being sponsored by KROQ, Universal Pictures, Decca Records, Immortal Entertainment, and The Alliance — will be preceded by a media question-and-answer session beginning at 7:30 p.m.
VELVET REVOLVER, who also feature in their ranks ex-LOADED/WASTED YOUTH guitarist Dave Kushner, have contributed an original track, titled "Set Me Free", to the upcoming film adaptation of "The Hulk" as well as to the accompanying soundtrack. The soundtrack, released Tuesday (June 17),originally consisted only of the music score by Danny Elfman, but a deal struck last month made "Set Me Free" the only vocal song to appear on the Decca/UMG CD.
