VELVET REVOLVER Frontman To Perform On VH1 CLASSIC's 'Decades Rock Live'

RollingStone.com is reporting that VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland will be a special guest performer at the taping of a new episode of VH1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live". The show that focuses on Cyndi Lauper will be taped at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ on November 11. Other artists to perform are SHAGGY, PAT MONAHAN, ANI DIFRANCO and the HOOTERS. Doors are at 8:00 p.m. and showtime at 9:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $100, $80 and $60 through Ticketmaster.

Weiland made a solo appearance on NBC-TV's "Last Call with Carson Daly" in May. Scott performed the song "The Man I Didn't Know", which he wrote and produced. The singer was joined by Douglas Grean (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Rick Schmidt on pedal steel guitar.
