VELVET REVOLVER: Portland Show Rescheduled For Later In The Month

June 7, 2004

VELVET REVOLVER cancelled their appearance in Portland, OR Saturday night (June 5) and are in the process of rescheduling it for later in the month, according to the radio station Rock 101 KUFO. No official reason for the reschedule has been given yet, but rumor has it singer Scott Weiland's voice was lost due to bronchitis or guitarist Slash was sick. The cancellation is not expected to affect VELVET REVOLVER's scheduled appearance in San Francisco Monday night (June 7).

VELVET REVOLVER's debut album, "Contraband", is scheduled for release on June 8 through RCA Records. Listen to the entire album online at this location.
