VELVET REVOLVER: Warm-Up Show In Los Angeles Planned Early Next Month

VELVET REVOLVER are planning a warm-up show for their upcoming tour in the Los Angeles area early next month — most likely on Sunday, May 9 at the Roxy in West Hollywood, informed sources have told BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

As previously reported, VELVET REVOLVER's first-ever tour will officially launch May 13 in St. Louis, with dates currently scheduled through June 9. The band —who've only played one show before (last year in Los Angeles) — recently shot a video for their first single, "Slither", with director Kevin Kerslake (NIRVANA, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, IGGY POP). Look for the "Slither" video to premiere Tuesday, April 27 at 9:00 PM Eastern/Pacific as part of MTV2's "Makes The Video".

VELVET REVOLVER's much-anticipated debut album, "Contraband", is scheduled for release on June 8 through RCA Records.
