VENGEFUL: 'The Omnipresent Curse' Artwork Revealed

The cover artwork for "The Omnipresent Curse", the second full-length album from Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based band VENGEFUL, can be viewed below. The group says, "It was once again painted by our longtime partner Martin Lacroix (AUGURY, HUMANOID)."

VENGEFUL's latest EP, "Tempted By Nightmares", came out in 2008.

VENGEFUL recently announced the addition of Emmanuel Pronovost (guitar),Olivier Pinard (bass) and Phil Truesdell (drums) to the group's ranks.

"Tempted By Nightmares" featured two songs ('Detention' and 'Nightmare') from the upcoming album while "Tempted" and "Sentenced" are re-recordings from 2007's "Karma" CD. "Silence" is from the band's "Tragedy Lies Ahead" demo.

VENGEFUL's debut album, "Karma", was released in 2007 via Disconcert Music.

According to a press release, VENGEFUL "plays death metal that is fuelled by pure hatred and deep anger, accompanied by a firm sense of song structure and dynamic. . . Their music shows influences from pioneers such as GORGUTS, IMMOLATION, NILE and CRYPTOPSY."
